About Legacy Park: Lee's Summit's community park is 692-acres and hosts Sporting Lee's Summit, LS Girls Softball Association, LS Baseball Association, and LS Football Association. The park also includes 3 shelters, Lovell Community Center, a 22-acre lake, disc golf course, amphitheater, our destination playground and 4.7-mile trail. 2012 improvements include practice field venues for baseball, soccer and football, two t-ball fields, fishing dock and scenic overlook along shoreline of lake. Legacy Park has 12 soccer fields, 16 baseball fields, 8 softball fields, and 3 football fields.
- Registration and donuts.
- Andy Carr will talk about Legacy Park and maintenance on all fields.
- Move to practice softball field and and discuss four 10'x10' test plots of infield material.
- There will be 2 test plots of amended infield and 2 pure product to view. 1 each from Dura Edge and Profile Products.
- The plots will be 3" deep.
- Use of conditioner on weather days.

- Drive to the soccer complex - on site.
